No Data Collection
The app does not collect, store, or share any personal or typing-related data. User privacy is fully respected, with no tracking, telemetry, or data reporting of any kind.
No Spying, No Tracking
The app does not contain any analytics, advertising trackers, or background data collection mechanisms. Your usage remains entirely private.
Two Versions: Full and Lite
There are two versions of the app:
- Full Version: Operates completely offline and does not require Internet access. This version has no network permissions and guarantees absolute privacy.
- Lite Version: Requires an Internet connection only in two specific cases:
- Downloading dictionaries from GitHub (when requested by the user).
- Using voice input (which relies on external speech recognition services).
Aside from these two cases, the Lite version does not make any other network requests.
Open-Source Transparency
Traditional T9 is open-source, meaning that anyone can review the source code to verify the privacy claims above. You can inspect the code yourself to ensure that the app does not collect or transmit any data.
