    Discover receiver slots from kernel-created child HID metadata before reading pairing registers or scanning addresses. Uses exact HID parent and HID_PHYS slot suffix; child nodes are metadata only. Existing register/full-scan fallback remains for missing sysfs slots. Adds opt-in --debug with discovery decisions and timed TX/RX packets on stderr. Timeout remains 5 seconds. 208 hardware-free tests passed; laptop timing is not yet verified.

    Read receiver capacity, device count and pairing entries before probing Logitech C5xx receiver slots. Only mouse/unknown-kind slots are probed; sparse slot numbering is supported. Inconsistent or unsupported tables fall back to the full scan. Explicit --index bypasses receiver lookup. No pairing or notification writes. Default response timeout remains 5 seconds. Includes the v0.1.6 timeout change. 205 hardware-free tests passed, including a simulated register-to-slot-discovery exchange. Physical C547 verification is pending.

    Autodiscovery skips kernel-created child HID nodes when their HID++ ancestor is also present. Separate USB interfaces and receivers remain candidates. Explicit --device selection is unchanged. 185 hardware-free tests passed; laptop verification is pending.

    Handle host-mode current profile 0x0000 by selecting the first enabled directory entry, validating its CRC before mode switching, and verifying profile/stage activation. No flash writes. Send long HID++ FAP packets immediately. Probe slots concurrently using read-only shared handles and skip redundant USB sibling scans after discovery. Writes remain exclusive and are never retried. 183 hardware-free tests passed. Physical SE verification and laptop timing are pending.

    Automatically group duplicate HID++ interfaces by their physical USB ancestor, receiver slot and model/layout. Select one interface without requiring --device. Read-only connection failures may fall back to another alias; command failures never replay writes. Separate mice remain ambiguous. 173 hardware-free tests passed; physical mouse verification is pending.

    DPI, axis and LOD edits without --stage now target the current active stage and make it the saved default. Explicit --stage remains supported. Root ping falls back once to a long HID++ report on timeout; writes are never retried. 163 hardware-free tests passed. SUPERLIGHT 2 SE hardware compatibility is not yet verified.

    Run uv run logimouse from the checkout via [project.scripts]. Added uv.lock; no separate Python launcher or PEP 723 metadata. Removed Cyrillic flags: use --stage and --max-stages. Help/errors are English. 154 tests passed; clean-checkout uv startup verified. Hardware support remains experimental, physical SUPERLIGHT 2 SE not yet tested.

    Independent Python stdlib CLI based on ClickSync. DPI stages, X/Y, low/mid/high LOD, wired/wireless rate, extra and profile selection. No button editing or backups. 153 automated tests passed. Not yet tested on physical SUPERLIGHT 2 SE; start with show and --dry-run. Requires Python 3.10+ and hidraw permissions.
